Sat. June 14th... Day 1

Today started out in a packing frenzy! We were running around like chickens with our heads cut off and ended up leaving an hour and a half behind schedule. We arrived, none the less, in Connecticut before we had to go to bed.

Oh, and in the first three hours on the road, we already hit a tree... No one was hurt and the damage was minimal, we already fixed it.

That darn tree got in the way, oh well, glad to hear no one got hurt. I hope you had some duct tape for the repairs. The highway will be a much smoother travel without any trees in the way. Love those beads on you all!

I've backed into my share of things: a wall (most recent), a sign post & a stump (1957). So if someone backed into the tree, its OK.

Tell Dave the Pancake Breakfast went fine without him. I had fun on the steam table serving the customers. John H.

Certainly this trip has already turned into an adventure.
You did pick some beautiful country to be in when broken down...and NO SNOW !!!

I can sympathize with the parts issue..we sat 4 extra days with our rented camper in the Keys waiting for the "right" master cylinder to be shipped from Miami..and parts came only once a day..oh yah, waiting in the Keys was a hardship but certainly one I was willing to do LOL.
